Hi Aspiring Dancers,
My name is Camille, and I’m the proud owner of Moving and Grooving Dance and Movement Studio for Kids in Henderson, NV. I started this studio to give very young dancers and older beginners a place to learn and grow through movement in a space designed just for them.
At Moving and Grooving, preschoolers enjoy a whimsical, open studio where they’re never placed behind a closed door. Older beginners can feel comfortable starting dance without the pressure of sharing space with long-term or competitive dancers.
We offer a variety of kids’ dance classes including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and acrobatics. Most are combination classes, giving young dancers a well-rounded foundation in a fun and supportive setting.
Each year, we host two performance events: a cozy Winter Showcase right inside the studio, and a full Spring Recital on stage, complete with costumes and routines. These moments give dancers a chance to shine in front of friends and family.
We also love building community. Our bi-monthly Dance, Play & Hang (Parent Night Out) events are a great way for dancers to bond over pizza, crafts, games, and movement—while you enjoy a night to yourself.
At Moving and Grooving, we believe in teaching the whole child. Alongside dance skills, we help children grow in confidence, empathy, and acceptance. Our studio values diversity, inclusion, and joy, creating a safe space for kids of all abilities and learning styles to be themselves and make lasting friendships.

Welcome to Moving and Grooving Dance and Movement Studio for Kids, a warm and welcoming space designed just for little dancers. Since opening in 2021, our mission has been to create a fun, inclusive, and pressure-free environment where children can explore movement, build confidence, and develop a love for dance without the intensity of competitive programs.
Our boutique-style, open-concept studio is designed specifically for children ages 18 months to 10 years. Unlike traditional dance spaces, there are no closed doors separating little ones from their caregivers, making it a comfortable and engaging experience for even the most hesitant dancers. Preschoolers thrive in an environment tailored to their needs, while older beginners can start their dance journey without the intimidation of sharing a studio with long-time competitive dancers.
At Moving and Grooving, dance is for everyone. We embrace all abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles, ensuring that every child feels included, supported, and free to express themselves. Whether they are twirling for the first time or grooving to the beat, every dancer is celebrated for who they are.
